AAF’s training program is designed to offer a fully integrated and professional environment for the physical development, athletic performance and personal growth of aspiring football players between the ages of 8-14 of all skill levels.
Our weekly program structure is based on a three-tiered concept (how to control, pass and shoot a ball) designed to ensure your child achieves his or her football goals – whatever they may be.
Against a backdrop that combines both camaraderie and healthy competition, your child will reap the rewards of small-communal based training.
However, our commitment to excellence extends beyond the field. In addition to simply kicking goals between the nets, we offer a holistic approach to training that we hope your child can also adopt away from football. At AAF our aim is to deliver training and education which can empower the youth of today to achieve excellence in all aspects of their life in the future.
OUR COMMUNITY
AND PLAYERS
The AAF community is led by our three in-house coaches Bill Galanis, Kosta Galanis and Johnny Di Biase. In addition to their own hands-on – or foot on! – understanding of the sport (all three have achieved their own success as semi-professional international footballers) AAF’s coaches are equally passionate about helping other aspiring athletes achieve their football goals.
AAF’s Head Coach, Bill, has over 20 years of experience in football coaching. Inspired by Australian renowned English coach Terry Bowcott, Bill has advanced the coaching ranks by obtaining the required coaching licenses (all the way up to C Junior and C Senior). Bill is supported by Assistant Coach Kosta – a specialist in youth development coaching related to midfield and attack. The trio is completed by Johnny – whose focus is mostly centred around defensive awareness, specialists in leadership, shooting technique and reading the play.
While each AAF coach holds a unique set of achievements all are committed to the common goal of offering their players the best opportunity for physical and personal development.

FAQ's
What is covered in AAF’s Group Training session?
Our sessions run every Saturday and cover the most important fundamental skills for all players. Specifically, how to control, pass and shoot the ball with both feet. At AAF we spend a lot of time on correction to ensure that players learn these skills properly during these crucial development years.
Do students receive an evaluation after completing their Group Training program?
We are constantly evaluating players and relaying that back to parents and guardians so that they are across their kids’ strengths and weaknesses.
Can I leave my child unattended during training?
You certainly can. We have booked out the entire park to ensure that only players and coaches are on the field at any time. Our coaches have also done their work with child checks. Some parents choose to sit around and watch so there are always plenty of guardians nearby. We do not let any child leave the field unless their parent/guardian is physically there to pick them up.
Can I book a class midterm?
Yes, you can. We understand that parents require flexible options and so our 10-week blocks start at different times, that way no players will miss out.
Can I get a deduction for missed sessions or make up a session?
We will always do our best to accommodate offer options for occasionally missed sessions with reasonable excuses. However, unfortunately, if it occurs regularly we are unable to offer refunds. Our 10-week block program is principled on the values of consistency. At AAF we believe that without consistency our players will not be able to learn the skills that we are trying to teach them.
